According to SGMA International, you have less of a chance of being injured playing paintball than you do golfing, boating, and even bowling! Statistics are based on all injuries requiring medical attention or causing the participant to lose at least 1 day of work.

What is a paintball?

A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule, with colored liquid inside of it. Paintballs are similar to large round vitamin capsules or bath oil beads. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water.

What should I wear?

Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that cover as much exposed skin as possible. We recommend closed-toed shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved t-shirt.

Does it hurt to get hit with a paintball?

Our high impact, 68-caliber paintball feels like getting snapped by a rubber band and will usually go away in a couple of seconds. Our low impact, 50-caliber paintball is one-third the impact as compared to high impact. It offers the same gameplay with one-third the sting for the same price.

What safety precautions do you take?

We require all players to:
(1) watch our safety video before they take possession of the equipment and are allowed to play
(2) wear full face safety goggles with ear protection at all times when they are in the playing area
(3) cover the end of their paintball gun barrels with an approved barrel blocking device at all times when they are not in the playing area
(4) chronograph their paintball guns below 300 feet per second

The safety video explains the important safety rules at the park, along with how to properly use the equipment and play the game.

Can I bring and use my own equipment?

Yes, but we will inspect your equipment to make sure it meets our safety standards. All goggles must be full-face paintball masks and be unaltered. There can be no cracks in the lenses at all. Paintball guns must be semi-automatic with a trigger guard. We do not allow full auto, double fire trigger systems (double triggers are ok), guns with ramping mode enabled, or burst mode. Any guns with full auto capability must be able to lock it down and not have the ability to quickly switch to full auto while on the field. If there is a question on if your marker can be used here, a staff member will make the decision. Barrel socks are required on all paintball markers. All High Pressure Air tanks must be in test date. We do not fill CO2 tanks. High-pressure fiber wrap tanks may not have any cracks or fraying and can’t have any stickers, decals or other coverings on them. We do not allow silencers, smoke grenades, paint mines or multiple paintball launchers. Maximum velocity is 300 fps.

How old must you be to play paintball?

You must be at least 6 years old to play paintball. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.
